MITOS SWIMWEAR

We do not use the “handmade” label because our swimsuits are embroidered with the help of a digital embroidery machine. However, all the steps of cutting, assembling and sewing are made by hand, one by one, just like the most precious lingerie. Each swimsuit is made of an embroidered part, with an impressive number of between 250,000 and 450,000 stiches embroidered on silk-like tulle. The product is washed and then assembled and sewed. Italian Lycra® is placed in the lining of every swimsuit, or in other spots of the fabric. According to the model, some removable pads or accessories may be added. The embroidered part gets softer after it is washed or worn several times without losing its shape.

Our swimsuits have some specificities and they are carefully verified one by one before being sent, in order to identify any issue that may arise. They are sent in individual pouches so as to be protected in the best way possible. However, the specificity of embroidered products induces that one or a few stiches may pop out, create a small knot or be connected differently. Also, stiches may pop up if in contact with pointy objects such as labels (our labels are all rounded to avoid this potential risk), jewels, zip from other clothes etc…We will not consider those as a flaw of the swimsuit that would induce a return of the product. In such event, we advise you to gently grasp a hold of the stich and twirl it around itself so as to not show on the swimwear. .end site-wrapper

Composition

  • Embroidery Rayon: 100% Viscose Filament
  • Lining: Lycra® 89% polyamide, 11% Elastane

Best practices

  • Rinse thoroughly your swimsuit in cold water as soon as possible after use to wash off any chemicals, chlorinated water, sun cream or saltwater.
  • Never roll up when wet : hang dry the swimsuit on a clothes line or hanger.
  • Do not hang the swimsuit in direct sunlight: UV rays can cause the colors of the fabric to fade.
  • Do not twist or wring out your swimsuit to remove excess water to avoid breaking the fabric.
  • Avoid contact with suntan lotions, oils, rough surfaces, pool and spas treated with harsh chemicals
Always love and care
