So, where do those hard working A-listers go when it’s time to play?

Whether you are planning or just dreaming of your next getaway, here are the star-cladded destinations to lust after.



Where: Located in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Who: New age stars like Fergie, Courtney Cox, Cheryl Crow, Will and Jada Pinkette Smith love its infinity pools.

Trivia: It’s been a film location, too, for the 2007 film The Heartbreaker Kid.



Where: In the heart of  London’s posh Knightsbridge neighbourhood

Who:  Emma Watson, gone girl Rosamund Pike, FLorence Welch and other equally cool Britons when in town

Trivia: Also famous for bringing the italian “Dolce Vita” flair to the center of  the british capital.

Cipriani Hotel


Where: On Giudecca island, in Venice, Italy

Who: Famous guests like Clint Eastwood, Sophia Lauren, Al Pacino, Princess Diana and others have spent their nights in its luxurious suites.

Trivia: Anyone who’s anyone has popped in Giuseppe Cipriani’s ‘Harry’s bar’ in Venice for a Bellini or its equally famous dry martini

Hotel Du Cap Roc


Where: On a rocky beach of Antibes, in the French Riviera

Who: Old Hollywood stars as Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Barton, Marlene Dietrich, but also personalities as Winston Churchill have graced it with their presence. It remains extremely star-packed especially during The Cannes Film festival.

Trivia: F.S. Fitzgerald re-named it as ‘Hotel des Etrangeres’, in Tender is the Night, while Marc Chagall produced several sketches of its beach cabanas.

Soho Grand Hotel


Where: In hip and stylish SoHo, New York

Who: Sarah Jessica Parker, George Clooney, Reese Witherspoon and many other A-listers are frequently seen going in-n-out.

Trivia: It is highly prefered for its key location, in a hip, raw and energetic neighbourhood among art galleries, gourmet restaurants and downtown cool shops.



Where: On Phuket’s Pansea Beach,  in Thailand

Who: Known as the rich and famous’ favourite resort in Thailand, it boasts names such as Kate Moss and Simon Le Bon as regulars. The top model has made it a tradition to welcome each New Year sipping champagne barefoot on its sands.

Trivia: It is world renowned for its luxurious spa treatments and emphasis on guests’ complete and utter relaxation.

Hotel Hassler


Where: In Rome, located at the top of the Spanish steps, with  spectacular views on Fontana di Trevi

Who: Audrey Hepburn’s favourite Italian hotel. Enough said.

Trivia:  It’s a true Roman landmark, as it used to be the USA’s headquarters during World War II.

Chateau Marmont


Where: In West Hollywood, California

Who: Everyone! Maybe the most mythical hotel in Hollywood. From Greta Garbo and Bob Dylan to Johnny Depp and Elizabeth Taylor, every single star had spent a night in one of its rooms, its bar, restaurant swiming pool.

Trivia: Famous love stories have bloomed on its grounds, hit songs have been written within its walls, even shocking deaths have marked its history. Chateau Marmont is the most infamous place to be if you want to rub shoulders with the A-list and immerse in Hollywood history.

Le Meurice


Where: Opposite Louvre, with stunning views to the Tuileries, in Paris

Who: Its unsurpassed grandeur has been attracting no-one but the grand to this historical parisian hotel. Think of Salvador Dali, Franklin D. Roosvelt, Liza Minelli, Beyonce,  Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton.

Trivia: You might recognize it from the movies that have been set here, most recently Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris. Also, Jay-Z and Kanye West recorded their song “Niggas here.

Last word of advise? Reserve early -as they tend to be overbooked- and bring your Mitos bikini along! The rest is… what dreams are made of.
